  ODUSANYA EMERGES CHAIRMAN ONDO STATE FORUM OF PERMANENT SECRETARIES Ondo State Forum of Permanent Secretaries has elected a new executive committee, with Chief Segun Odusanya, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture (Forestry Sub Sector) emerging the Chairman. The election, held at the Forum’s monthly meeting in Akure, marks a transition from the previous Committee led by Chief Bunmi Alade. In his acceptance speech, Chief Odusanya pledged to uphold the core values and principles that define the State’s public service. He stressed the importance of high ethical standards and dedication to ensure effective governance and public trust. Odusanya thanked members for the confidence reposed in him and other newly elected officials, describing the appointment as a call to serve. FRILIA INITIATIVE: ONDO MOVES TO BOOST AGRICULTURAL DEVELOPMENT Ondo State Government has set machineries in motion to attract a multi‑million‑naira agricultural city to Iju‑Agbonrin/Ori‑Ohin in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State through the FRILIA initiative, aimed at supporting agricultural development. The Ondo State Commissioner for Agriculture and Forestry, Engr. Leye Akinola, at a meeting with stakeholders in Akure, expressed the State’s readiness to provide support and enabling environment for agriculture to thrive, ensuring that investors’ funds are not wasted.
