ONDO POLICE SEEKS COOPERATION OF THE JUDICIARY ON SWIFT ADMINISTRATION OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE Ondo State Commissioner of Police, CP Abayomi Oladipo, has called for strong synergy between the Police and Judiciary in the State in order to enhance speedy administration of criminal justice, just as he urged the Chief Judge to look into remanding of defendants on trial in Police facilities due to congestion at the Correctional Centre. According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, the Commissioner of Police made this known when he paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Judge of Ondo State in Akure. CP Abayomi said the visit was to enable the Command interface with the Judiciary, being a major factor in the Administration of Criminal Justice.
