WE 'LL ENSURE REGENERATION AND PRESERVATION OF FOREST RESERVES - ONDO COMMISSIONER, OLAYATO The Ondo State Government has promised to put necessary machineries in place to ensure adequate preservation and regeneration of the State's forest reserves, so as to secure the ozone layer for the benefit of human, animals and plants. Speaking at a working visit to Akure forest reserve, in Aponmu area of Ondo State capital, to assess the level of planting of exotic and ingenious trees, for regeneration of the degraded part of the forest, Hon. Commissioner for Agriculture and Forestry in the State, Chief Olayato Aribo, harped on the need to ensure adequate preservation and regeneration of the forest when it becomes degraded.
