 ONDO FIDA LAUDS AIYEDATIWA FOR SUPPORTING WOMEN DEVELOPMENT 

International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) in Ondo State has lauded the State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for boosting the morale of women in their chosen career through feminine-friendly policies and programmes, just as it noted that the newly sworn-in female Judges in the State possess the required wealth of experience that would add value to the administration of justice in Ondo State.

In a statement released to pressmen in Akure, yesterday, the Ondo FIDA Chairperson, Barr. Catherine Ogunjebi, also felicitated the newly appointed Judges, especially members of the International Federation of Women Lawyers, for making it to the Bench. She described the appointment of three female Judges in a row as a welcome development and testament to an all-inclusive governance led by Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

The Chairperson who used the opportunity to congratulate women in Ondo State for witnessing a new orientation under the Governor observed that since inception the Governor has implemented lots of life benefiting programmes that cater for the women folk.


The newly sworn-in Judges are: Hon. Justice W. A. Daomi, Hon. Justice O.A Adegoroye,

Hon. Justice O. J. Kpemi,

Hon. Justice H. I. Demehin-Ogunbayo,

Hon. Justice W. A. Fabuluje and Hon. Justice M. I. Ogunwumiju.

 6 States where 379997 candidates will retake 2025 UTME from May 16 (SEE FULL LIST & PROCEDURE ) The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced a retake of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for 387,000 candidates across six states. JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, after a meeting held with education stakeholders in Abuja, admitted responsibility for the mass failure that trailed the examination. He announced that about 379,997 candidates in the just concluded 2025 examination would retake the examination.
