OIJEFON YOUTH COUNCIL ADVOCATES YOUTH EMPOWERMENT, INCLUSION IN GOVERNANCE Oijefon Youth Council (OYC), the umbrella body of Ile-Oluji youth, led by its President, Engr. Adedokun Adeyonu, has advocated for the development of youth through empowerment programmes in the form of skills acquisition, agriculture, scholarships, and bursaries to support students in tertiary institutions. He stated this during a visit to the Executive Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government, Hon. Adeboye Adebare, where he congratulated him on his emergence as the Chairman of the Local Government. According to Adeyonu, the Oijefon Youth Council is the platform that coordinates all Ile-Oluji kingdom youth, with the aim of supporting members in self-discovery, empowerment, self-reliance, and growth.
