XRAYING THE IMPACT OF DR. TAIWO FASORANTI IN THE HEALTH SECTOR

Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti from a young age and young medical personnel has contributed immensely to communal and societal development. For the love he has for his people, he facilitated HIV prevention aids from diaspora and has been providing assistance in treating and curtailing the virus among high risk populations. No wonder he was globally recognised for his active involvement in treatment and management of HIV cases.

During his brief service as the Chairman, Ondo State Hospitals’ Management Board (HMB), Dr. Fasoranti revitalised the monitoring arm of the Board and ensured health professionals prioritised their services to the people. He exemplified true leadership qualities by leading Board Members to health facilities across the State to access the state of affairs and ensured they are actively providing services to the people. Whilst doing this, he also ensured availability of drugs in these hospitals, and workers unfettered access to training and re-training. Meanwhile, his introduction of staff auditing in various health facilities across the local governments in the State facilitated recruitment and engagement of more health workers in the State.
